Your assessments stay on this device. Unlike cloud apps, your POWRAs never go to our servers. One exception: if you request a free trial or enquire, the contact details you enter (company, name, email, phone) are sent to Geos-IT so we can contact you and issue a licence, and your approximate location (IP address and city) is looked up at that moment. Both are shown in the table below.
| Data | Where Stored | Leaves Device? |
|---|---|---|

When you add worker names, signatures, photos, you are Data Controller under UK GDPR. You must:
Geos-IT Ltd is NOT data processor - we never see your assessments because they never leave device.
POWRAs retained until you delete via Home > 🗑. No auto-deletion. Export backup JSON before deletion if required for H&S file. Licence and terms acceptance retained until you clear browser data or uninstall. To wipe all: Browser Settings > Site Data > Delete, or use app Export All then delete each POWRA.
As data is local, you exercise rights directly: access by opening assessment, rectify by editing, erase by deleting, portability by Export JSON. For questions: ardit@geosit.co.uk. Right to complain to ICO ico.org.uk.
Device PIN protects app (local PIN hash with salt, not sent). Photos compressed, signatures as base64 PNG. No encryption at rest beyond browser - you should use device passcode/biometrics and encrypted device. PDFs may contain personal data - protect exported PDFs.
Not intended for under 16. Do not add children's data.
Privacy version auto-increments. When version changes, app will prompt re-accept on next launch. Current: 1.1 - 31 July 2026.
Summary: SLAM Point is privacy-first - your assessments stay on your device and we never see your POWRAs. Weather & A&E lookups send lat/lng to third-party APIs and can be avoided by typing manually or working offline. The only personal data that reaches Geos-IT is what you submit when requesting a trial or making an enquiry.
